Due to lack of water at the Red Frog Beach resort OGI has been playing a shell game. The water in the large pool at the LaRosa beach club has been low for weeks because it has a leak. OGI moved water from the pools at 2 villas which are owned by OGI and put it into the pool at LaRosa. They also drained the water from the small pool into the large pool. So now LaRosa is only partially functional. There are only a couple of lounge chairs in the pool area because the rest are torn. There are a few chairs on the beach but they are in poor condition. Also, we notice something that is missing in this photo…people. Are we having fun yet?
OGI also shut off water to the marina again. The shutoff was from about 4 pm March 23, 2024 to 8 am the next day. Of course, marina residents were not notified in advance. And OGI admitted that their water monitoring system isn’t working. There are elderly people living at the marina, some of whom are in poor health. If you are planning a trip to Red Frog Beach please be aware that in order to provide you with water to your rental unit OGI might be shutting off water to the people in the marina who also have basic needs like drinking and bathing. The disregard that OGI shows for the marina and its residents is exactly what we’ve come to expect from Joe Haley.
