Sales Fraud

In the past Red Frog Beach has been certified by Green Globe as meeting it’s environmental standards. However, Green Globe has revoked that certification, probably due to issues such as the inoperative sewage treatment plant and the fact that raw sewage is being discharged into the ocean in the mangroves near the marina and the presence of open pools of raw sewage near villas.

Despite being directly instructed by Green Global to cease displaying the Green Global seal on the Red Frog Beach website and to cease displaying any and all physical signage indicating Green Global certification. In flagrant defiance of the instructions from Green Globe Joe Haley continues to do both. The Green Global seal is displayed at the bottom of the website at www.redfrogbeach.com and a physical sign continues to be displayed just behind the reception desk at the Welcome Center.

OPINION: Displaying the Green Globe seal and placard misleads visitors and potential property buyers that the Red Frog Beach resort is Green Globe certified when it is not. Under Joe Haley’s management, the company is actively misleading visitors and potential buyers. This cannot be a mere oversight since Green Globe has expressly communicated with Haley that the Green Globe materials are to no longer be displayed and demanding that they be taken down. Such a deliberate act is fraudlent.
