We did some sleuthing recently and found something interesting about Joe Haley.
We did a court records search in Minnesota using this page:

We then searched for Joseph Haley and the 2nd search result was this little gem:
Six Diamonds Resorts International is the company that has been Joe’s nemesis in the long running land dispute at Red Frog Beach. On February 6, 2023 they filed a lawsuit in Minnesota against Blue Sea Holdings (the holding company that owns 100% of OGI stock), OGI, Haley, Bolton, et al.
Blue Sea Holdings LLC is a Utah entity so we hopped over to the Utah Business Search page and looked it up. The search page is at https://secure.utah.gov/bes/index.html
When we searched for Blue Sea Holdings we found it but we noticed something a bit odd. The city was listed as “COOK” in the search results summary. But guess what? There is no city in Utah named “COOK”.
We drilled into the details by clicking on it and found that the company’s address is listed as 3698 SUSAN LAKE ROAD COOK, MN 55723.
Having a company address outside of Utah is no big deal in and of itself. Foreign corporations (those not headquartered in Utah) do this all the time. But we thought we’d see exactly where that is so we went over to Google Maps and looked up that address. It turns out to be on a small rural road between 2 lakes in northern Minnesota. Google Maps didn’t have street view for that road so we went over to real estate sites such as Realtor.com and Zillow.com and found info about the property plus photos. It was most recently purchased in 2022 for $137K. The photos show what appears to be a dilapidated hunting lodge of some kind. The interior is less than impressive but what we really got a laugh out of was the tool shed out back. It’s plywood door is painted green like everything else which makes this dump eco-friendly. Where have we seen this movie before?
It seems Joe is in the doghouse. Perhaps he strays when he visits the resort and his wife found out about it? Who knows.
So the partners in the holding company, Blue Sea Holdings LLC, have this run-down dump in the middle of nowhere as their corporate headquarters. Congratulations!
